For those wondering about this blog's name, I figured I'd post a little explanation.
Bands turn in to "One Hit Wonders" when they only produce one song that really gets famous. In a similar way, I will probably only blog for the six weeks that I am in France, making me a Six Week Wonder. I've never been good at keeping a steady diary...which I think directly relates to my future attention to this blog. I'll do my best, though!
Another way one could interpret the name is in relation to the Seven Wonders of the World. Although no one really knows how many moments in their life will be so profound as to be called a "Wonder," everyone has a few experiences during his or her life which help to define them. I suspect that these next six weeks will turn in to one of the "Wonders" of my life, thus, a "Six Week Wonder."
As with any piece of literature, you may interpret the title of this blog in any way you see fit. However, if you aren't feeling creative, now you know the two things I had in mind. :)
